In a refinery process furnace and any other equipment where heat transfer is present, requires their surfaces as clean as possible in order to obtain the maximum heat exchange rate.

The increasingly use of heavier fuels creates a greater build-up of deposits both in radiation and convection areas. This creates a significant loss of yield and production capacity of this furnaces.
 
"ON-LINE" FURNACE CLEANING

ABSTRACT

For several years, Solarca has been successfully applying this new “on-line” cleaning technology to the radiation and convection areas of process furnaces, arranged by a specialized staff with great experience.

This method of cleaning offers the following advantages:

  1. An innovative, effective, quick and safe technique.
  2. Applicable to any sort of furnace.
  3. Allows recovery of the unit yield without shutting down.
  4. Quick recovery of the cleaning costs.

RESULTS

Results are spectaculars several times. Only cleaning convection area, the exhaust gas outlet temperature can decrease around 130ºC.

In radiation area cleanings, the inlet gas temperature in convection area can decrease between 150ºC-200ºC.
