SABSCO is a company formed in the UK by SOLARCA. The main purpose of SABSCO is to offer services related to air and steam blowing. The origin, licenses and professional experience comes from the BIS/DBI blowing services division.

Some of the services that SABSCO offers are the equipment renting, general engeneering and manpower help, all of them as a support of SOLARCA's industrial chemical cleaning.
   
 
       
   
STEAM AND AIR BLOWING

METHODOLOGY

A process for oxide scales removal and fitting or construction debris by mechanical drag forces. Employed Methods:
- Conventional steam blowing.
- Silent steam blowing.
- Air blowing.

CONVENTIONAL STEAM BLOWING

  • Discontinuous blowing.
  • High noise level >120db.
  • High number of blowing cycles.
  • Longer Blowing time: 2-4 weeks per system.
  • Steam lines subjected to high mechanical forces and thermal stress.
  • Special supports in the provisional blowing lines to avoid reaction force problems.

sILENT STEAM BLOWING

  • Continuous blowing.
  • Low noise level < 80db.
  • Reduced blowing time.
  • Achieved at low pressure.
  • Steam flow requirement approx. 30% of maximum capacity.
  • Has technical advantages and economic benefits.

AIR BLOWING

  • Discontinuous blowing.
  • Air blowing cycles at high pressure.
  • Instantaneous high flow velocities using a quick opening valve.
  • High drag forces giving very effective fluidisation of debris.
  • Considerable reduction of cleaning programme time and subsequent commissioning.
